Dr. David Wempe is the owner of Spring Hill Animal Clinic. David accomplished his undergraduate work in animal science while attending Louisiana State University. In 1990, David received his doctorate from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, David moved to Kentucky and worked nearly ten years. In Kentucky, David practiced farm and companion animal medicine. David’s interests expanded into dentistry and surgery of the companion animal. With this special interest, the move to Florida prompted the purchase of Spring Hill Animal Clinic in 1999. Now, in partnership with his wife, Dr. Stacy Wempe, he proudly owns and operates Spring Hill Animal Clinic. They have four children, two dogs, and two cats. David enjoys playing golf, wood working, hanging with family, watching LSU sports, and his dogs.
Dr. Stacy Driscoll Wempe, D.V.M., Owner & Veterinarian

Dr. Stacy Wempe is in partnership with her husband Dr. David Wempe. Together they proudly own and operate Spring Hill Animal Clinic. Stacy accomplished her undergraduate work from Northeast Louisiana University concentrating her studies in science and business. In 1990, Stacy received her doctorate degree from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine. Moving to Kentucky with her husband after graduation, she practiced companion animal medicine throughout the state. In 1999, they purchased Spring Hill Animal Clinic and moved to Florida. Stacy is a practicing veterinarian and the business manager. Stacy and her husband have four children and many pets. She enjoys working with her husband, being a mom, family, friends, and church. Stacy wants to thank the community for trusting her and her husband with the care of their special pet companions.
Dr. Michael Noyes, D.V.M.

Dr. Michael Noyes is a Spring Hill native and previous technician at Spring Hill Animal Clinic. Dr. Noyes earned his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science from the University of South Florida and his veterinary education from Ross University’s School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts, British West Indies. Upon completing vet school, Dr. Noyes went on to assist in teaching small animal anesthesiology to fourth year veterinary students at Auburn University’s College of Veterinary Medicine until accepting an associate veterinarian position in Pittsburgh, PA. Mike’s interests include anesthesiology, soft tissue surgery, and dentistry. When not at work, Dr. Noyes loves spending time with his wife and three dogs; Wally, Penny, and Little Bear. He also enjoys outdoor activities and particularly being on the water.
Dr. Christina Ferrari, D.V.M.

Dr. Ferrari grew up in South Carolina and completed her undergraduate degree in biology at Elon University in North Carolina.
Upon earning her DVM degree at the University of Georgia in 2005, she moved to Florida to practice small animal medicine.
She now lives in New Port Richey with her husband and their two young children, and many pets.
Vickie Schenk, Administrative Manager

Vickie Schenk came to Florida from West Virginia 25 years ago working as a Government Contract Liaison. Moving to Florida she sat in the State Attorney’s Office as a Legal Secretary and then onto to the nursing field prior to joining the team here at Spring Hill Animal Clinic. Vickie’s skills have centered around communication, liaison abilities and a compassionate job ethic. Vickie enjoys doing obedience work with her German Shepherds on the weekends.

Yolanda started out in the Veterinary Field in 2004 working as a receptionist,and was quickly moved up to her true calling to work as a Veterinary Technician.She is a proud mother of 2 beautiful children,and enjoys spending her time with her family and outdoor activities. Hello! I’m Dorris, known to most as the “southern gal” at the front desk!
I grew up in Arkansas and moved to Florida in 1999. In 2000 I was hired as a receptionist here at Spring Hill Animal Clinic! I’m married to Tom, and when we are not working, we are usually cruising, visiting family or listening to a live band somewhere. My motto in life is simply this : Live each day as if it’s your last!!
Dede Borth, C.V.T

Originally from Plymouth, CT, Dede moved to Florida in 2009 and began working at Spring Hill Animal Clinic in 2016. Dede has been in the Veterinary field since 2011. She graduated from St. Petersburg College with her associate degree in Veterinary Technology. Shortly after graduating she became a Certified Veterinary Technician. She also became a Certified Ultrasound Technician through Oncura. When she’s not working, Dede enjoys horseback riding and spending time with her fur babies. Her fur babies are Peaches her Appendix Quarter Horse, 4 cats- Twixx, Dash, Luna and Maverick, 2 guinea pigs- Elijah and Chewy, a cockatiel named AWOL and a Uromaystx named Charmander.

Originally from New Jersey, Megan moved to Florida in 2014. Megan has been in the Veterinary field since 2007. She graduated from Harcum College in Bryn Mawr, PA with her associate degree in Veterinary Technology. She also participated in a 6-month internship at University of Pennsylvania Small and Large Animal Hospital. Shortly after graduating she became a Certified Veterinary Technician. When she’s not working, Megan enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and fur babies. She has 2 dogs- Cooper and Biscuit.
Joli Smith, C.V.T

Joli moved from Iowa to Florida in 2017. She received her associates degree in veterinary technology from Kirkwood Community College, Cedar Rapids, IA in 2001 and has been working in the veterinary field since. When she is not working she enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with her 2 Boxers Gunner and Trixie, and Yorkie Lacie.
Brigette is a St Pete College Veterinary Nursing student and will graduate in May 2019. She loves nurturing and contributing to animal well-being and has been doing so in the veterinary setting since early 2017. She has two dogs, Pearl and Cole, and one cat named Java Bean. She was born and raised in Citrus County and is happy to now help serve the pets of Spring Hill.
